The "decomposable seaweed straw" developed by the team led by Assistant Professor Wu of China University of Science and Technology is edible and decomposable. Compared with the current environmentally friendly paper straws, the straw made of seaweed is half the cost, and it will restore the gel state within a day when it is placed in the reducing solution.
